Here it is…Sunday again. Another week has passed. I didn’t do a great deal of internet surfing this week as I spent most of my free time working on a quilt top that I’ve had in the works for quite a long time. I finally got it finished and layered for quilting on Monday evening. I did find some great quilt patterns, embroidery patterns and a couple of sewing patterns. I think the fabric bins would be cute about anywhere. The coasters and coaster caddy would make great Christmas gifts…I need to put them on my Christmas list.
Free Quilt Patterns
Check out this beautiful throw-sized quilt which includes both fusible applique and traditional piecing. The pattern is free here.
Check out this darling nautical themed baby quilt. It’s pretty in pink but would be pretty in shades of blue or in aqua cream and brown. What about blue and red too. Navy blue with brights? I can see lots of ways to make this cute quilt–each one of them would look a bit different.
Free Sewing Patterns
What handy little fabric boxes. They could organize items in a baby’s rooms, hair clips and ties in a little girl’s room, makeup in the bathroom or clipped recipes or coupons in the kitchen. And I haven’t even mentioned all the things they could hold in the sewing room. While I haven’t made these yet, the site says they take about an hour to make…and they are cute. What could be cuter than this caddy with a set of pieced coasters? Make several sets to keep and give–different fabrics for different seasons. Get the free pattern here.
Free Embroidery Designs
Check out this lovely floral heart design. This would be beautiful embroidered on pillowcases. Get the free design here
Two pretty tea cups would be pretty on kitchen towels. The designs are free here.
Be sure to look back at the previous weeks’ Sunday Freebies posts. Many of the freebies listed there will still be free. You can find the recent Sunday Freebies here.
