Last week was a busy week with items going to both Warm the Homeless in Canada and these items going to Bridge & Beyond, an organization that provides warm blankets, socks, hats, gloves, mittens, and other items to the homeless in Ohio. There were two hats, four cotton washcloths and a winter scarf in this shipment.

I’ve found the hats are a lot of fun to make. I’m enjoying playing with color variations as I try not to have any two hats exactly alike. The washcloths are a nice simple project to pick up between other projects. They also have the benefit of being small and easy to work on in the small space the cats allow me between their lounging bodies.

I hope you’ll join the fun and make some projects to donate to Bridge & Beyond, Warm The Homeless, or another organization. It’s really quite a nice feeling to know that something you made is giving pleasure to someone else.
