I’ve compiled a list of over 200 sites that sell machine embroidery designs. I’ve personally visited every one of these sites, and have tried to give an indication of what each site offers. ABC Embroidery Designs
ABC offers a wide range of embroidery designs including machine cross stitch, machine cutwork, machine lace, and machine embroidery.
Ace Points is one of my favorite sites at which to buy embroidery designs. They have a huge selection of machine embroidery designs which include free-standing lace, free-standing lace jewelry, delicate floral designs, beautiful, delicate Christmas designs, quilt block designs in several styles, and designs featuring birds and animals.
A Creative Medley
A Creative Medley offers a nice selection of applique designs which include a cute butterfly and several cute owls, a hippo, a whale, and a bunch more. They also have a big selection of in the hoop projects including felties, stuffies, burp cloths, and more.
Addicted To Stitches
Offers a nice selection of machine embroidery designs including heart motifs, quilt block designs, flowers, butterflies and red and white work.
A Design By Lyn
Lyn’s offers a big selection of embroidery designs in several styles including filled embroidery, in the hoop projects, freestanding lace, and single and multiple color outline stitch. She also offers several sets for use in making freestanding lace jewelry.
Adorable Embroidery Designs
Offers a nice selection of single color and simple line drawing type designs as well as a few other designs which are multiple color.
Adorable Ideas offers several CD’s, each filled with designs. There are several CD’s with bear designs, which are quite cute. The designs on each of the CD’s would work great for making quilt blocks for a darling baby or child’s quilt.
Ageless Embroidery features a great collection of highly detailed, beautiful embroidery. You’ll want to check out their floral designs, holiday designs and fonts and numerals.
AKA Applique is a neat Etsy store which sells machine embroidery designs for in the hoop toys, several different designs for hair clips and hair bows, ornaments, and applique designs suitable for children’s apparel.
This site offers a lot of free-standing lace machine embroidery designs, including many for creating free-standing lace coasters, table runners, and that sort of thing. There are also a couple of nice rodeo focused designs which are not free-standing lace.
Aljay offers a big selection of delicate and realistic floral designs. There are also a few nice sets which include machine applique designs.
Allsorts offers a great variety of machine embroidery designs including single color designs, tone on tone designs, applique designs and designs combining free-standing lace and embroidery and those combining embroidery and applique. There are several packages including cutwork as well.
Allstitch offers a fairly extensive collection of machine embroidery designs including floral designs in both embroidery and applique, quite a few Jacobean inspired designs, and some with more of a folk art feel.
All Stitches N Paint
This site offers a lot of floral designs as well as several crazy candlewick quilt designs.
Always J Designs
Has several packages featuring completed projects, like tissue box covers, and tissue covers for the small packages of tissue, and eyeglass and shade cases. There are also quite a few packages containing single color embroidery machine designs and a few multi-color embroidery designs.
Amazing Designs offers thousands of different embroidery designs with something in about every category that one could think of. They are however, a great source for realistic multi-colored embroidery.
Andadas Divine Designs
This site offers a big variety of realistic dog feltie designs for machine embroidery. There are also many beautiful designs for in the hoop projects, including designs to make a beautiful snowman tree skirt. They also feature some pretty applique designs, including a package of snowmen scenes.
An Ursula Michael Original
This site features word art designs in several categories including dogs, cats, boats, camping and others. Satin-stitched words about the subject (cats for example) create the image of the subject. So the words cat, fuzzy, whiskers, kittens and so on create an image of a cat. These designs would be fun stitched on a sweatshirt or t-shirt.
This site offers a wide range of cartoon type, filled embroidery designs.
Anna Bove Embroidery
Anna’s features beautiful embroidery designs for machine applique, cutwork, filled embroidery, and free-standing lace.
Ann The Gran
This site offers a wide variety of machine embroidery designs in typical embroidery styles. There are areas for free designs and for paid designs.
Applique Boutique offers a nice collection of cute applique designs and applique numbers with pictures (butterfly, rocket, owl, etc.) which would be suitable for quilt blocks or for appliqueing on children’s clothing.
Check out Applique Cafe for cute applique designs for kids apparel and quilts for kids. There are tons of cute designs including boats, beach toys, flowers, dogs, fish, popsicles, and more.
Applique Circle is both a club and a site for getting free embroidery and applique designs each month. Each month they offer quite a few freebies for those who are signed up with the free membership. Those signed up with the $8 a month membership have full access to everything on the site. There are lots of very cute applique designs here. I particularly like the bubbles from July.
Applique Corner is a great site for machine applique designs for adults and children and for machine embroidery and machine applique fonts.
This site has a lot of cute applique designs as well as a few in the hoop projects.
Applique For Kids
Applique For Kids offers a wide range of applique designs for kids. Something I’ve not seen at other sites that this site carries are applique pockets of different styles that can be added to apparel items.
Check out Applique Junkie for cute applique designs and fonts and for in the hoop projects.
If you’re in the market for cute applique designs for apparel or quilt blocks check this site out. They have a lot of cute designs, which include a cute tractor with flowers, lots of cute designs with sayings, a tiger, a princess owl, and more.
Offers several embroidery designs for biblical and inspirational sayings
Offers a mix of machine embroidery designs ranging from cartoon type to heirloom embroidery with many designs which read as delicate but which are not quite heirloom. Designs include holiday designs, designs for padded clothes hangers, embroidered necklines to add to shirts and t-shirts and heirloom tissue box covers.
Ashley Embroidery offers a nice collection of machine applique designs for the embroidery machine. These include cute designs featuring pantry jars which would be cute for making a jar quilt. There are also machine appliqued ships and a circus train which would make fun quilts for kids.
A Stitch And A Half
A Stitch And A Half offers many, many, many in the hoop or partially in the hoop embroidery designs for a wide variety of projects including potholders, oven mitts, picture frames, pen and pencil sleeves, bags, and more.
Astitchforyou is a great site for cute applique sayings for kid’s clothes and for in the hoop designs.
A Time To Stitch
Offers a wide variety of embroidery designs. In the hoop projects include seatbelt neck protectors, kitchen magnets, hot mitts, ponytail wraps, coin purses, coin purse key fobs, checkbook covers, and more. The site also features several sets of embroidered picture frames which are cute or pretty, depending.
Attic Treasures offers a nice collection of delicate machine applique designs which include quite a few designs for Christmas and for the fall season.
Aunt Martha’s Machine Embroidery
This site offers a nice collection of digitized embroidery designs which are like those from Aunt Martha’s embroidery transfers which we used to buy for hand embroidery. These include days of the week and a nice set of reversible applique coasters.
Aunty M’s Designs
Aunty M’s offers a lot of different embroidery designs on their site. There is a cute set which features multi-color outline teapots. Another cute set features vehicles, which would be cute for a little boy’s quilt.
A Vintage Touch
Offers a nice selection of machine embroidery designs similar to the Aunt Martha’s transfers for hand embroidery. Includes several day of the week sets which would be perfect for embroidering on kitchen towels.
Baby Kay’s Appliques
Baby Kay’s offers a big selection of cute machine applique designs for home embroidery machines. There are tons of cute designs that would be suitable for children’s apparel as well as some suitable for adult apparel items. There is a daily .75 deal and a $1.50 sale section.
Baby Nucci Embroidery Designs
This site offers quite a few kitty designs in various styles, including multi-color outline, filled cartoon style, silhouette, and single color satin stitch outline. There are quite a few other designs in the same range of styles. These include Halloween, Easter, and Christmas designs as well as others.
Bargain Embroidery Store
The Bargain Embroidery Store features several sets of cute applique designs as well as several alphabets.
Beau Mitchell Boutique
Check out this site for lots of applique designs. There are several cute heavy construction designs, including a cement mixer as well as lots of other designs.
Becky J’s Designs
Becky J’s offers a huge collection of machine embroidery cross stitch designs, in many different categories.
Bee Stitchin offers quite a few in the hoop projects for kids stuffies, lots of keyring designs, in the hoop door signs, crayon rolls, ornaments and more. There’s also a cute VW van applique design there.
Belinda Joy’s Designs
Belinda’s offers lovely applique and machine embroidery designs including some lovely florals, some cute applique designs for children, a cute polar bear in the snow that would be darling on a sweatshirt and more.
Bella Bleu Embroidery
Bella’s offers a lot of cute machine applique designs as well as some cute sayings. There is a cute machine applique monster font that would be fun to play with. Other offerings include quite a few different in the hoop baby bibs and an in the hoop burp cloth that would make a nice shower gift. There are also tons of in the hoop machine embroidery designs for elf clothes.
Belliboos features a lot of cute applique designs and some very pretty embroidery designs. I’m particularly fond of the seashells embroidery and the trucks, airplanes, hot air balloons, and whales applique designs.
Betty’s Sunset Threads
Betty’s offers a lot of cute cartoon style filled designs. There are also a couple of sets designed especially to stitch the outline on the machine and then to finish with crayons.
Big Dreams Embroidery
Big Dreams Embroidery offers mostly machine applique designs and a few in the hoop designs. One of the in the hoop designs that I’ve not seen elsewhere is a cute flower power headband. They also offer an in the hoop owl banner that is awful cute. They offer lots of applique designs that would be suitable for embellishing clothing or for making quilt blocks.
Birdhouse Cottage Crafts
This site offers lots of in the hoop designs for hot plate holders, applique designs and a set of Halloween masks including a Spiderman mask that is cute.
BFC Creations has over 4000 embroidery designs in all kinds of categories. They aren’t well-organized so you’ll have to browse around a lot, but they have a lot of unique designs.
Features tons of designs for $1 each with some on sale for .5o each. Designs are categorized with such categories as ITH, animals, holidays, people, novelty, animals, and more. Most designs are filled embroidery style.
Blue Stitch Sky
Blue Stitch offers a small selection of very pretty applique designs. Several of these are pretty fall leaves. There are also several designs with dogs and cats.
Bonnie Jean Rosenbaum Designs
This site offers a mix of embroidery designs including several packages of redwork and applique designs.
Britt Designs is a good place to go if you are looking for embroidery alphabets. They have a variety of themed alphabet sets including a winter alphabet, a prehistoric alphabet, and an under the sea alphabet. They also have applique designs and filled embroidery style designs.
Bunnycup Embroidery offers a lot of machine embroidery designs featuring cute sayings. There are also a lot of other designs including several packages of cute appliques and filled cartoon style designs that would be great for kids’ quilts or kids’ apparel.
BuyStitch offers a huge collection of filled cartoon style embroidery. Whatever you’re looking for in that style, you’re likely to find it there.
Calico Cali Designs
Calico Cali Designs offers several sets of different embroidery designs including a set of quilt labels, a couple sets of stylistic cats, and more.
Offers a big collection of filled embroidery designs, quite a few of which are in the cartoon style. There are also quite a few single color designs using line art and zigzag line art.
Charming Station Embroidery
This site’s offerings include several packages of designs suitable for making quilts…and a cute set of applique’d onesies with cute sayings on them…which would make a cute baby quilt. They also have several sets of in the hoop projects.
This site offers an intriguing mix of machine embroidery designs of different styles. Styles include free-standing lace, filled designs, some filled cartoon style designs among others.
Cinch2 Stitch has quite a few in the hoop projects for things like baby shoes (size 3-6 months), bottle covers, shoe tags and more.
Cookie Cat Creations
Cookie Cat offers a big collection of folk art inspired designs in filled and applique styles.
Coopers offers a wide selection of embroidery designs which include traditional multi-color designs, in the hoop projects. There are lots of pretty florals. There is an applique boat that would make great quilt blocks. There are also lots of cartoon style filled embroidery designs.
Offers a mix of designs which include delicate free-standing lace, elegant scrollwork, dainty embroidery, and filled cartoon style embroidery.

Cuddle Me Crazy offers a big selection of machine embroidery designs…many or which are suitable for children. I definitely like the hippies applique set. Designs from that set would make a darling quilt.

Offers a big selection of designs to fuel inspire your creativity. One package I will have to buy is the made by quilt and clothing labels. There are designs ideal for making quilts including the applique quilt block package. There are several projects including a couple different styles of fabric bowls and coasters.
Designs Sew Fine
This site offers quite a few machine embroidery designs for quilting on the embroidery machine. There are also a lot of designs in a single or multi-color outline style as well as quite a few filled embroidery designs.
Design Store 101
This site offers lots of embroidery design singles. They offer mostly filled embroidery designs, a few sayings, and some applique designs. I particularly like their dog embroidery designs which feature several breeds. There is a design for embroidered handcuffs, which is not something I’ve seen elsewhere. Those with Mickey or Minnie mouse fans in their lives will want to check out the BIG collection of Minnie and Mickey applique designs.
Diana’s offers a lot of darling applique designs, including a set of cute applique Santas, another set which features elephants, and sets which feature applique cats and dogs. The site also features a beautiful set of designs that would be great quilt blocks for cancer awareness. They offer tons of other designs in many other categories.
This site has a quite a few different design sets featuring Sunbonnet Sue and a male Sunbonnet…though he doesn’t look like Sam. There are several really nice golf designs as well as free-standing lace bowls and many other designs.

East Coast Applique
East Coast Applique offers a wide selection of applique designs and cute sayings. They also have a cute in the hoop sets for monster corner bookmarks as well as a set for in the hoop bracelets.
Elizabeth’s offers both machine smocking and machine embroidery designs. There are beautiful designs for making floral quilt blocks. There is also some free standing lace and cutwork, including a pair of baby slippers that are darling. Quilting designs for quilting on the embroidery machine and a selection of cute applique designs round out the site’s offerings.
Elsa’s is a neat site with a ton of beautiful designs. She has a lot of heirloom-style embroidery and some really stunning florals as well as quite a few packages of designs for delicate embroidered quilt blocks.
Though this site offers quite a few designs similar in nature to what you might find at other shops, like embroidered Christmas trees and applique gingerbread men, and quite a few cute sayings it’s a great site to visit if you’re looking for applique Mickey and Minnie type designs or embroidered Avengers. Also unique to this site are several different in the hoop baby sandal designs which would be darling for a baby girl. If your kids are into fidget spinners, there is a design for a fidget spinner case as well.

Embroidery Designs Dot Com is a huge site with TONS of designs in every category you can imagine.
This site offers some very nice in the hoop design sets including softees, chalkboard mats, pencil cases, tealight covers, purses and cases and more.
Embroidery It offers a lot of candy holders, in the hoop state coasters, ornaments, or tags, G tube pads for feeding tubes, and my favorites baby closet organizers, generic closet organizers, and day of the week organizers.
Embroidery Library is a huge site with any kind of design that you could imagine. They release new designs which debut at $1.39 each on Wednesdays. They also have a robust sale section which features a new group of sale designs each Wednesday. Sale designs are usually $1.39. Embroidery Library features filled designs, dainty designs, lace designs, continuous quilting designs for machine quilting on the embroidery machine as well as lovely holiday desgins, floral designs, realistic animal designs and more. Embroidery Library is one of my favorite embroidery sites.
Embroidery Online is a one stop shop for all kinds of embroidery. Their site is vast with designs organized by technique and by theme. Their offerings include beautiful realistic embroidery designs, some exceptionally pretty free standing lace projects, a big collection of quilt motifs for quilting quilts on the embroidery machine, as well as in the hoop designs and single and multi-color linework designs.
Embroidery Panda offers a great selection of machine embroidery designs in a wide variety of categories. They offer a lot of fonts, filled embroidery, and applique.
Embroidery Super Deal
Embroidery Super Deal features tons of embroidery design packages with packages starting at $1.99. There are sets which feature fonts, professional sayings, sayings for baby and children’s apparel, flowers, dogs, and more.

Everyday Designs has a nice selection of applique designs. There are several elephant designs any one of which would make darling quilt blocks. There are also snails, owls, butterflies, and teddy bears. There’s a lovely cancer awareness butterfly design which would be lovely on sweatshirts or as quilt blocks.
Earla’s Machine Embroidery
Offers a selection of single color and multi-color designs. Includes a cute applique baseball alphabet which would be great if you have a baseball fan in your family.
Elizabeth K’s offers a nice range of applique alphabets and numbers as well as a few other cute applique designs.
Elsa’s offers a big selection of pretty and delicate machine embroidery designs including all the popular categories…like floral…Christmas…butterflies…and fall designs. There are a couple packages featuring dainty designs for quilt blocks and several designs for mug rugs.
Is a great source for machine embroidery designs for coasters, tea cloths and table runners. Their designs run toward the dainty and the elegant with lots of lacework paired with embroidery.

This site is a great source for 3D floral machine embroidery designs. They have lots of them.

This is a great site for cute machine applique designs for children’s clothes or quilts. There are also quite a few filled designs as well.
Embroidery Garden has a lot of neat in the hoop machine embroidery projects. I’m particularly interested in the chalkboard mat, the baby wrist rattles, the stuffies, and the butterfly coin purse and the pencil cases sets as these would be great donation projects.

If you’re looking for cute in the hoop projects or applique designs for children’s apparel and quilt blocks Embroidery Outlet is a good place to look. They have cute flowers, owls, and heavy machinery applique designs and lots of stuffed toys/ribbon toys for babies.
Offers a selection of machine embroidery designs which have a vintage feel to them. They offer quite a few redwork, bluework, and colored line design packages as well as some filled embroidery designs.
Offers a lot of photostitch machine embroidery designs including presidents and dolls. There are also quite a few single color outline stitch designs and quite a few filled embroidery designs.
